Bulk Registration via Audience Rules
Last updated: February 25, 2026
Bulk registration lets you register a defined group of supporters at once using WeGive's audience rules engine — without requiring each person to go through the registration flow individually.
When to Use This
Registering all staff members for an internal event
Pre-registering a segment of donors (e.g., major donors, members)
Migrating registrations from an external system
How to Bulk Register
Open the event and go to the Registrations tab
Click Bulk Register
Define your audience using the rules builder (filters by supporter attributes, tags, lists, etc.)
Select the ticket type to assign to all registrants
Review the matched supporter count
Click Register All
Registrations are created in the background. A summary shows how many were created when complete.
What Bulk Registration Does and Doesn't Do
Behavior | Details |
Status | All created as Confirmed |
Payment | Not collected — same as manual registration |
Custom questions | Not filled in — answers will be blank |
Capacity limits | Bypassed |
Confirmation emails | Not sent automatically |
Duplicates | Supporters already registered are skipped |
⚠ Things to Watch For
There is no undo for bulk registration. If you register the wrong audience, you'll need to cancel registrations individually or in bulk.
Custom question answers will be blank for bulk-registered supporters. If answers are needed, collect them separately.
