Events in the Donor Portal

Donors who are logged in to the Donor Portal can view their event registrations, access their QR codes, and manage upcoming registrations.

What Donors Can See in the Portal

  • A list of their upcoming and past event registrations

  • Registration status for each event

  • Their QR code for confirmed registrations

  • The event details (name, date, location)

Where It Appears

Event registrations are accessible in the My Events section of the Donor Portal. This section only appears if the donor has at least one registration.

Self-Cancellation

To allow donors to cancel their own registrations from the portal:

  1. Open the event and go to the Settings tab

  2. Enable Allow Self-Cancellation

  3. Save

Self-cancellation does not trigger an automatic refund. If a refund policy applies, staff must process it manually.

⚠ Things to Watch For

  • Donors who registered as guests (not logged in) will not see their registration in the portal unless they create an account with the same email address used during registration.

  • The Donor Portal must be enabled on the organization's account for this to work. If donors report not seeing their registrations, confirm the portal is active.
