When you connect WeGive to Bloomerang, donor, transaction, and fund data syncs automatically between the two systems. Below is a complete list of the default fields that are mapped.

Things to Know

  • Only successful transactions sync to Bloomerang. Failed or pending transactions are not pushed.

  • FormalName and Birthdate are pull-only. These fields come from Bloomerang into WeGive but are not written back.

  • Funds must be mapped. If a transaction's fund doesn't have a matching Bloomerang fund, the integration's default fund is used instead.

  • Country affects state validation. When pushing an address to Bloomerang, WeGive validates the state code against the country. Invalid state codes are cleared to prevent sync errors.
