Company Registrations for Events
Last updated: April 29, 2026
Company registrations let a single registrant purchase multiple tickets in one transaction and send copies of those tickets to other people who will be attending.
How It Works
When company registration is enabled on an event, the registrant can:
Select a ticket quantity greater than one.
Optionally add recipient email addresses to send ticket copies to other attendees.
Complete a single payment for all tickets.
All tickets are held under the registrant's supporter record. The registrant receives a confirmation email containing every ticket and QR code. If recipient emails are added, each recipient also receives a copy of their assigned ticket.
How to Enable Company Registrations
Open the event and go to the Settings tab.
Enable Allow Company Registrations.
Save.
What the Registrant Sees
After selecting a ticket quantity greater than one, the registrant can add the email address of each person who should receive a copy of a ticket. The registrant then completes their own contact information once and proceeds to checkout. There is no per-attendee details step.
How Tickets and Attendees Are Recorded
Company registrations create a single registration record tied to the registrant's supporter record. The ticket quantity is stored on that registration. Recipients who are sent ticket copies do not get their own supporter records or their own registration records automatically. They are simply emailed a copy of the ticket and QR code.
If you need an actual supporter record for each attendee, that has to be created manually or imported separately.
Custom Questions
Custom questions are collected once per registration, not per ticket or per attendee. If you need to capture information for each attendee (for example, t-shirt size for a group of six), the current workaround is to use a free text question and ask the registrant to list the answers for everyone in the group.
Things to Watch For
All tickets and QR codes are sent to the registrant's email. Recipients added during registration also receive a copy of their assigned ticket.
If one ticket needs to be cancelled, it can be cancelled individually without affecting the other tickets in the registration.
Refunds are applied per ticket, not per the whole order. Each ticket must be refunded separately.
Custom questions are answered once by the registrant and apply to the registration as a whole. They are not collected per attendee.
Reporting on attendance is at the registration level. The system tracks how many tickets were purchased, but it does not track individual attendee identity unless you collect that data through a custom question.
